Do you love brewery labs as much as I do?

Since you’re reading this blog, you might be like me, when you go on a brewery tour your favorite part is when you get a glimpse of the lab. If you’re really lucky, you get to tour a brewery's lab. With tours on hold during the pandemic these opportunities have pretty much been eliminated. At least they were before we launched the “Behind the Taproom” in January of 2021. In this series we join brewers from around the US on tours of their QC labs. If you're a brewer these are a great opportunity for you to see what others are doing to ensure quality beer, to ask questions about tools and techniques, and to get ideas on how to expand your program. If you're a beer enthusiast, then this is a great chance to see what goes on behind the scenes to create quality beer.

For our first virtual tour we went to Allagash Brewing Company and got a great tour from the Quality manager Zach Bodah. We recorded the video so we could relive this great experience, and so you could check out their lab and all of the hard work they put into making quality beer.
